Hager GeoScience is currently conducting an archeological geophysics survey at the Rotch-Jones-Duff House in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The project and the history of the house are described in an article entitled “Survey to discover earlier landscaping of RJD property” in the South Coast Today newspaper. The site made for a challenging, yet exciting survey with its beautiful gardens and historic mansion.

Last fall Hager GeoScience monitored a special effects blast for a movie project at the time entitled “Secret Wichita Project.” The blast, which took place in a corn field in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, became an exploding airplane in the film “Knight and Day,” starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
GPR 2010 is over and HGI’s own Mario Carnevale has just returned with photos and news about what is changing in the world of Ground Penetrating Radar. The event was put on by IBAM this year and held in Lecce, Italy at the historical Castle “Carlo V,” in the heart of the city. Radar companies were there from all around the world to show off their latest and greatest equipment.
